Hi all! In the coming weeks we will begin enrollment for the following social skills groups:
Children with Selective Mutism and other anxiety disorders.
When: Starting September 1st.
Where: It will be held at Dr. Joffe’s office in Coral Springs, FL.
Group Format: The format will depend on the age and levels of comfort in the group (including a screening for children with Selective Mutism).
Young Adults
Who would benefit?
This group is focused on young adults with difficulty in having social relationships due to social anxiety, Selective Mutism, or other social skill deficits.
Group Format
Dr. Joffe will meet with the group at the office and also in public places to help patients develop a higher level of comfort in social and public places.
Teenagers and Adolescents
Who would benefit?
Teenagers with difficulties with social skills, making friends, keeping friends. Teenagers with Social Anxiety, Selective Mutism and other disorders associated with social skills deficits.
